St Tudwal's church, Barmouth was built in 1905.

From a report of the laying of the foundation stone of St Tudwal's in The Cambrian News and Merionethshire Standard, 19th August 1904: 'The style adopted by the Architect (Mr. Alfred Gilbertson, of Liverpool), is of Early English Gothic. The Church will seat 250 and will include a nave, sanctuary tower, and presbytery. The walls will be of Minffordd stone faced with Cefn freestone. The masonry work has been en- trusted to Messrs. Lloyd. Williams, and Jones, Barmouth; joinery to Messrs Thomas and Parry, Llanbedr; plumbing to Messrs Min- shall; and painting to Mr. John Roberts.
