DisgrifiadSt Francis of Assisi Catholic church, Caerau was built in 1960. It is one of a series of idiosyncratic post-war churches designed by F. R. Bates, Son & Price. The exterior has a series of lozenge-shaped windows towards the road. There is an openwork conctrete campanile. Inside, the reinforced concrete frame acts as a series of flying buttresses to carry the gallery and there is a ceramic relief depicting the 'Way of the Cross' by Adam Kossowski.
