Llangwarren Farm may have been the site of an early medieval church or chapel, as indicated by the `llan? place-name element and the fact that Jordanston 1 (NPRN 305194), a 5th?6th century ogam and roman-letter inscribed stone, was discovered here in 1896. St Cwrda's Church, Jordanston (NPRN 229), some 1.5km to the north-west, is thought to be a post-Conquest foundation, which may have succeeded the site at Llangwarren.
