Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance during the 2018 drought, on 4th July, discovered cropmarks of a plough-levelled round barrow approx. 25m diameter to the west of Trewen farm, associated with wider spreading cropmarks of linear ditches in fields to the west and south of Trewen, possibly representing remains of a prehistoric or early field system.
