DisgrifiadThe allotment gardens overlooking the cemetery in Barry were originally constructed in the early twentieth century. They do not appear on the second edition of the 25inch OS maps, published in 1900, but are clearly established by the time the fourth edition of the 25inch OS maps was published in 1942. The allotment gardens have remained mostly unchanged into the twenty-first century, with a perimeter of approximately 671 meters. Sometime after 1942 another, smaller, triangular plot of allotment gardens were developed immediately to the north of the original site, with a perimeter of approximately 458 metres.
