DisgrifiadThe icehouse probably dates from 1818 when the house (nprn 36445) was extensively rebuilt. The icehouse is built into a bank above which there is a small stone building inside which allows access to the top of the icehouse via a small manhole. The main entrance is from the side, along a 4m tunnel which leads into the yellowish bricked chamber with a domed top and flat base. The icehouse is 5.2m deep; it is 1.96m in diameter at the base and the greatest diameter is 2.85m.
