Original church of uncertain date, perhaps C14-C15. Transformed by the addition of N aisle in 1520 and S aisle in c1530. C19 W bellcote. Restored in 1850. Of rubble construction with large boulders and slate roof. Triple roofed interior each of 5-bays, with four C15-C16 arch-braced collar trusses. N arcade features octagonal piers and plain 2 chamfer arches dying-in. S arcade more elborate, hollow moulding to arches, piers have moulded caps and M-shaped moulding down diagonal faces.
