Llanarth Court is a country house originally built around 1770. It was remodelled in Italianate style in1849-51 by local architects, W. & E. Habershon. In 1948 the house was given to the Roman Catholic Church and was run by the Dominican order as Blackfriars School until around 1990 when it was was sold to AMI Healthcare Group. It is now in use as a private hospital.
