Slate quarry trial level with adjacent upcast to the west and east. It measures 4-5m deep and is cut into the hillside for 50m adjacent to Chwarel Fawr quarry. The site is marked on the OS 1st Edition mapping. P.J. Schofield, OANorth, 7th June 2007
