An oval shaped pond marked on the OS 25inch 2nd Epoch mapping of 1900. The site survives as a depression measuring 10m long by 8m wide with slight external upcast banks. The site was probably associated with water management at Chwarel Cefn Du (NPRN 400667). P.J. Schofield, OANorth, 26th June 2007
