Area of workings and stacking floors, marked as aD on the earlier survey and within Chwarel Cefn Du slate quarry (NPRN 400667). The overall area measures 87m long by 33m wide, some upstanding walls survive but the site is mostly reduced to rubble up to 0.3m high.
