An additional collection of military huts are shown on aerial photographs dating to 1948. Five hut bases line the northern edge of the compound and are aligned north/south. A further rectangular building marks the eastern boundary and square building with a sloping roof marks the eastern corner. Local residents suggest these buildings were used as the NAAFI (Navy, Army, Airforce Institiute store for military personnel) and laundry. The plot has been cleared and remodelled to accommodate two houses and gardens. However, wartime concrete fencing posts remain insitu along the roadside defining the extent of the original military use of the land.
