Present house is almost entirely 19th century, although it may occupy the site of an older house. The existing house consists of two blocks, the south one being the eldest. The south consist of an unusual porch/veranda, it has three pointed arches on its front and single ones on its sides. The walls are of rusticated stone quoins and the windows have projected pediment heads carried on corbels. Most of the sashes have been removed, but for the two that remain in the porch. At three storeys high, the second block differs to the, two storey high earlier block. Here there are a single row of bay-windows on the west side, whilst the north has two rows flanking the entrance. The entrance is a porte-cochere with Tudor style arches. The interior consists of reproduction Jacobean style fireplace and wood panelling.
