Cofnod Safle

A building is shown here, on the 2nd edition 1:2500 Ordnance Survey map of 1899, adjacent to the engine house at Nant Hir. It is roughly 10 metres long, northeast to southwest by 3 metres. The building no longer stands, and all that is left is a rough, narrow, platform on the north side of the tramway, NPRN 516926. The platform is cut into the slope on its southern side and revetted with stonework below on its northern side. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 16 June 2011
