On the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map an air shaft is shown here. By the time of the 2nd edition a level, NPRN 516867, is shown immediately to the north of the shaft and the remains on the ground are of the level rather than the air shaft. J.J Hall, Trysor, 20 March 2012
