Lead mine marked as disused on the 1887 OS map, probably sunk in the 1850s by John Taylor & Sons and active only for a brief period. The shaft is open and unprotected near the foot of a steep slope, and is rectangular, 8m E-W by 4m. No associated surface structures were visible.
