The placename with the annotation 'disused' is shown on OS 3rd edition mapping. The mapping shows a rectangular building next to an 'Old Shaft'. An air shaft for the mine is shown at the top of the wooded slope to the west (NGR SN16670717). Modern aerial photography shows only heavy tree cover and confirms that both the mine and the nearby Amroth Cottage have been removed to make way for a car park.
