This is the site of a ruined mine building or structure in the Rhysgog lead mine complex. It lies close to the east of the Nant Rhysgog stream, which has resulted in the eastern side of the structure beginning to collapse into the stream. It appears to be 5 metres square in plan and its walls still stand up to 1 metre high, being best preserved on the northeast side. It is revetted into the slope on its southeast and southwest side, whilst the northwest side, facing the stream, may have been left open. The structure stands on a levelled terrace and it is the edge of this terrace which is beginning to collapse into the stream. R.P.Sambrook, Trysor, 26 March 2013
