Disgrifiad
A ruined farmhouse building, covering an area measuring approximately 8m in length and 5m in width. Its walls are 1m thick and range from between 0.5m to 2m in height. The building contains the remains of a chimney stack inset into the northwest wall. The chimney is 2.5m in width, 2m in height and 1m in depth. A 3m long wooden beam or lintel lies in front of the chimney resting on stone piling. There are also the remains of possible aga or stove, toppled outward, with decorated metallic panels. Fragments of coal are intermixed with the stove remains. An entrance into an adjoining structure (530723) on the southeast wall, is blocked up by stone and two wooden beams. The entrance into the building is on the north side is 1.5m in width. The structure is aligned northwest-southeast. A. Farrington-McCabe, ArcHeritage, 27 June 2012.
