Lead mine, perhaps only a trial, in the form of a cutting in the hillside 15m long E-W and 3-4m wide. It is mostly overgrown and waterlogged, but some vertical bedrock sides remain visible. There may have been an underground entrance but it has been blocked, or naturally obscured, by scree. To the SW is an irregular spoil tip 15m N-S by 10m, part heather-covered.
