The White Lion, Trawsfynydd is a 2-storey building, built of coursed, roughly dressed local stones including extremely long stones forming a continous lintel course across the ground floor openings.
The slate roof has advanced eaves and rectangular stacks with dripstones and capping; there are gable stacks to either end and a single ridge stack offset to the right.
The White lion is a 19th century structure that was first erected to be a dwelling but was adapted for use as an inn for a significant period prior to reverting back toa residential use.
