The Waun Lydan Standing Stone lies on a local summit approximately 500m above sea level. It stands 1.4m high (1.66m above eroded ground surface on one side), is roughly triangular in cross section (10.8m by 0.8m by 0.7m) and has an uneven pointed top. It is set on a mound of packing stones that were revealed by adjacent peat cutting. It is presumed to be of prehistoric date.
