The Peter Williams Memorial Chapel was originally built in 1810 by the Moravians. However, by 1851 the chapel was recorded as now occupied by the Welsh Calvinistic Methodists. The chapel was later rebuilt in 1896, by the Methodists, in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable entry type.
