Cofnod Safle

The Blaenavon Branch of the LNWR across the heads of the S Wales valleys was opened in 1869 from Brynmawr to Blaenavon (nprn 67497). The station opened in 1869. The water crane is shown on the 1st ed OS.

A brick structure at the E end of the N station platform, approximately 4x2m with walls up to 1.5m high, rounded to the NW corner. Inside is a single holding-down bolt and a vertical cast iron water pipe.
