Rhiw-Bwys Methodist Chapel was built in 1781 by architect Richard owen of Liverpool. The chapel was later enlarged in 1820, rebuilt in 1832, the interior altered in 1871 and the chapel restored in 1926. The present chapel is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the long-wall entry type and is Grade 2 Listed as a large Late Georgian chapel with an impressive nineteenth century interior.
