Capel Mawr Methodist Chapel was built in 1762 and rebuilt in 1797,1804, 1815, 1844 and 1865. The present chapel, datd 1865, is built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable entry type. Capel Mawr is Grade 2 Listed as an imposing Classical mid nineteenth century chapel with a fine galleried interior.
