All Saints church was was built in 1897 and consecrated on 1st November 1898 (All Saints' Day). The Victorian Gothic church had a distinctive buttressed tower topped by with 4 finials and with constrasting bath stone dressings.
In 1989 the church was found to be structurally unsound and demolished a few years later. A First World War memorial plaque was removed from the church before demolition.
The replacement church is a modern red brick building on the lower end of Brynglas Road, also called All Saints.
