Former 1879 school building (Coed y Bryn Board School) no longer in situ but is marked on the OS 25-inch First Edition (1885-88) and alongside the current building - erected in 1934 - on OS 6-inch Fourth Edition (1927-54). Extant building for Ysgol Gynradd Coed Y Bryn was erected in 1934 with its date inscribed on stone. The school closed in 2016; one of five schools amalgamated to create the new Ysgol Bro Teifi.
