The Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Chapel in Rhyl was built in 1855 and rebuilt or enlarged in 1874 to the design of Richard Davies of Bangor. Its schoolroom was extended around 1880. The present two storey chapel of 1874 is brick-built with stone dressings and is Gothic in style, with a gable-entry plan type. The main 3-bay gable-end facade has a pinnacled apex and pinnacled buttresses. These flank its central 3-door entrance bay, with tripartite windows of two lights each above. The side bays have single light windows on the first floor and a rose window on the ground-floor. It was still in use as a chapel in 1995.
