Waungoleugoed Independent Chapel was built in 1892 to the design of architect S. Evans of Llandegla. The chapel is built in stone in the Simple Round-Headed style with a gable-entry plan. The facade's central entrance and flanking windows have brick surrounds and brick quoins to the corners. There is a small entry porch with a plaque and circular ventilation opening in the gable.
