Ednol farmstead is situated on a platformed site cut into the S. slopes of the hillside at 1000ft. The farmhouse is set to the W. of a group of farm- buildings formed around a court, some of which have been demolished. To the W. of the main group, sited down the hill, is three-bay barn and further to the SW. there is a cartshed with granary over. The latter buildings are mainly timber-framed and weather-boarded but the courtyard complex is totally stone walled. All are of the 19th. century period.
