A probable ring cairn lies in a sheltered location on a low, local rise surrounded by boggy ground and overlooked by the rising terrain of Mynydd-y-glog on the north and north east. Close by to the south is an abandoned intake defined by a substantial bank-and-ditch. The cairn presents as a low, circular stony mound measuring 13m in diameter and between 0.2m and 0.4m high with a slightly dished centre. It is overgrown with grass and heather. It looks like a very well-preserved ring cairn despite its proximity to recent field banks.
