DisgrifiadThe dry dock is within the section of the Brecknock & Abergavenny Canal completed in 1805 under Thomas Cartwright. It is a stone-lined chamber, restored with concrete facing, that could be closed off from the canal by means of stop planks with the water draining into the stream through the trapezoidal-shaped sluice to its E.
