OS 6-inch 2nd Edn.(1901): Where the Dowlais Iron Co's mineral railway between Cwm Bargoed and Bedlinog (85511) was crossed on the level by the later Taff Bargoed Branch of the G W and Rhymney Joint Rly. the crossing was removed and the two parts of the mineral line realigned to join the Joint Rly. Through running over the mineral line was no longer possible without reversal.
