Heol-y-Felin Baptist Chapel was first built in 1852 to the design of architect Joseph Thomas of Hirwaun. This was rebuilt or extensively modified in 1893 and was again extensively remodelled in 1905. The present chapel, dated 1905, is built in the Sub-Classical style, with a gable-entry plan, two storey's and a hall/Sunday school to the rear. Hoel-y-Felin is now Grade II Listed.

By December 2015 the chapel was closed and up for sale.
