DisgrifiadHope Independent Chapel was built in 1869 and rebuilt in 1872 to the design of architect Thomas Thomas of Landore. The chapel is built in the Gothic style with a gable-entry plan and flanking turrets. It is built in brown rock-faced rubble stone with Bathstone dressings and a slate roof. The facade has a raised coped gable with an iron finial. The chapel has two storeys and a four-window frontage, with paired first floor openings separated by a central dividing mid-buttress. The gable has a small ashlar trilobe with double hoodmould, inscribed with Hope Chapel Built 1872. A large vestry was added in 1909 to design of architects J. Davies and Son of Llanelli.
