Former water-powered woollen mill built by a Mr Taylor, son of the owner of the original hotel at Devil's Bridge, in about 1820. It used the reservoir (nprn 91751) on the Nant Lletwys, constructed in 1818 for the nearby smelting works (nprn 91752).
