2. A stone circle excavated in 1940 and shown to have consisted of 27 stones, of which 14 remained in 1976, at most 0.6m high, and forming a circle 17.5m in diameter. Three natural boulders were incorporated in the circle and a posthole was located within it. A central pit may have been modern, however ancient parallels are noted.
c.25m to the W is a substancial cairn (Nprn305045).
