DisgrifiadTredegar Fort has a roughly pentagonal inner enclosure approximately 142m from north-east to south-west by 70m to 112m, defined by a bank, ditch and counterscarp. It has a south-east facing entrance and is set within a roughly concentric and similarily defined outer circuit, with an annex on the south side, which measures approximately 310m from north-east to south-west 263m overall.
The earthworks are complicated by the remnants of a relict golf-course.
