A subcircular enclosure, about 50-56m in diameter, set upon the summit of Mynydd Ystum, defined by two concentric ramparted circuits, both largely reduced to scarps.
Extensive excavation, c.1930 & 1958-9, demonstrated a lengthy occupation sequence.
