A sub-rectangular enclosure, about 30m north-west to south-east by 24m, resting on steep natural slopes above sea cliffs on the north-east and opening onto a roughly 10m wide ledge above the cliffs on the south-east, which is involved in the entrance; defined by a bank and ditch on the north-west and south-west, apparently having a stone-walled rampart on all sides, there is a circular building emplacement within the enclosure, about 6.7m in diameter.
