Overlapping circular cropmarks in a field north of the main buildings at Ty'n-y-Coed farm, a mile west of Pont Yates. The field measures approximately 100m north west to south east by 185m south west to north east, and is covered in the circular cropmarks which are indicative of old shafts and mine workings. Dyfed Archaeological Trust records a mine called 'Berkenshaw's Colliery' on the site (PRN 30630). Oblique aerial photograph taken during the Royal Commission's programme of archaeological aerial reconnaissance by Toby Driver on 16th July 2013.
