A cairn lies on a local summit on the south side of Mynydd-y-glog.
It is composed of unsorted stones with a significant proportion of smaller stones (< 0.2m) and measures 15m in diameter. Its height is 1.5m on the east side but on the north and west where the ground falls away steeply it is more than 3m high. It was probably constructed on an rock outcrop. The centre of the cairn is marked by a hollow 3.5m across and 1m deep. Shelters have been built into the south and east edges of the mound. To the immediate south-west of the cairn lies a ring of small stones, probably of recent build, measuring 4m in overall diameter and up to 0.5m high.
