St John's Church, situated on the south side of Marine Street, at its junction with Druce Street. It was erected as a chapel of ease to St Paul's Church (NPRN 107201). The church was built in 1887 and is constructed of squared sandstone rubble and paler dressings. It consists of plain nave and short, narrower chancel, gabled north-west porch (with bell lantern over) and gabled (and extended) south-east vestry. Stained glass in its east window dates to 1974.
The building is now redundant and in 2013 a planning application was made for conversion to residential accommodation.
