Sub-group of records comprising long-hand text regarding sites referenced as TD (Town Defences). These records were prepared for inclusion in the Glamorgan Inventory, Volume III, Part 1b - 'Later Castles from 1217 to the Present', but subsequently not included. Also includes text on Oystermouth and St Donat's castles.
