DisgrifiadArcot Street Methodist chapel was built in 1864 and rebuilt 1882, in the Romansque style with a gable-entry plan and perpendicular windows. After a fire in 1905 the congregation decided to build a new chapel in Albert Road (NPRN 10000). The original chapel changed denomination and became St Pauls Church, but this closed in 1965 and by the late twentieth century the chapel had been converted for use as a gymnasium.
