Disgrifiad
1. Remains of building in small stream valley, amorphous rubble heaps with no structural form visible. 6m x 10m, 2.5m high with adjoining heap 3m x 5m, 1.5m high. It has been suggested this is the site of a horizontal or Norse mill. The structure occupies the small base of the Darren Ddu valley and water is audibly flowing at depth under the remains (could be a buried wheel pit). Current stream course probably later - naturally found its way round the rubble. Immediately downhill the valley is choked with stone - giving the structure an artificial platform. For later reuse as probable ford see nprn 243287.
