A well preserved section of Roman road north-east of Coelbren Roman fort (NPRN 301348), part of the route leading to Brecon Gaer (NPRN 407122). The road runs straight for over 1.3km and is represented by an AGGER or causeway, some 8.0-13m wide and up to 1.0m high. A well preserved pavement 4.6m wide between 'curbs' was reported in 1907.
The road is next recorded at Maen Madoc further to the north (NPRN 84540).
