Originally reported as a pair of stones with a mound between them, this is the grave of St Illtyd, set close by a chapel and natural pool on Mynydd Illtyd (see Nprn305063): the monument is now regarded as a ringcairn, 13m in diameter, having two recumbent stones, or boulders within it: there is no sign of the reported small mound.
