Late 19th century 'institutional' building, rendered elevations, hipped roof.
The building was originally a bathing house run by the writer Ann Hatton. It was converted for use as a 'House of Industry and Infirmary' in 1817. The building was demolished in 1979, when Swansea Civic Centre was built on the site [NPRN 300024].
There is a blue plaque commemorating Ann Hatton and the bathing house on anexternal wall of the Civic Centre.
